Can Trees Cry
Can Trees cry?
Trees on top of the hill
had been chopped down
except for one,
a big old oak.
When I walked under it
large drops fell,
I grant you
It had been raining
but that was hours ago.
Big tears,
in each one of them
I saw
a picture of fallen trees.
