Can I escape this deep dark hole... Can I let go of a past so bold... Can I erase the pain, and all of the shame... Can I feel emotion again... Can I forgive the people who hurt me... The people who made me feel so alone and scared... Can I break down the wall of steel... That i've built around my heart, to keep people out... I wish I knew the answer... And I can have doubts... But life must get better...
