Call To Mind

Call to mind, favours of the dark. Whispers the lies, that always follow. Save yourself, forget all others. Be so selfish, No one matters. Take all you need, take all you want. There's very little, we put past you. You can't be sad, can't be lonely. If so happens, you won't be the only. You owe so much, possess so less. How can you, put your mind at rest? So indulgent, that nothing's enough. The life you lead is just so 'tough'. Your heart so dead, Your mind so blank. Your presence so gloomy, You've blinded yourself. ~Written in late-2003 (October-November) when I was fifteen.
