I have been blessed that I have not been in that kind of an outcome. Two years ago water missed coming into my home by and inch and that really scared me. No place for my dog to go out.

Hurrah, Eve, for you ….my home is not flat on the ground, so no water can come in. I worried about the gigantic trees behind me falling, but they did not. Still raining, but the brunt of the storm is moving east. Ps A new feral cat showed up! Hurrah! Be well, Panagiota

California is getting creamed. This is sad. And has become serious. I understand, there has been loss of life. Blessings and protection.

Hunker down, Pangie! I'm glad to hear from your emails that you and your family are safe. Wish we could get some of that rain here in drought ridden Colorado! Bob

A roof, flew off a house!I think our rain is headed to Colorado. And Bobert lost, in a rowboat. No chance, she’s in DC. Not in any rain, just being vain on her high horse!-)) or flying on a broom! hugs, Pangie

Hello Panagiota,in a storm like that people lose everything or almost everything. They have no homes because it is ruined by the horrible storm. It is so sad to see so many people homeless atfter the storm. Hugs /Darlene/ xxx

Hello Panagiota, Oh, this is awful to lose 12 people from this storm. Yes cars would be crushed by this storm. also trees falling on the roofs of houses. More to come! There will be a lot of repairs to be done. That will take time to do. Hugs /Darlene xxx

Dearest Darlene! Not all homes are ruined, but many.! Cars are crushed! See above. Power outages are in most cities. CA is huge. I thought this image was best. Ground cannot hold all that water. Trees just fall.. Worse. More to come. Twelve dead so far. RIP. I barely have slept…my fence is caving in. Irene is freaked out! This all over CA! Freeways are flooded. Add the influx of an open border? Cracked in the head. Always in my heart. Panagiota

Well, Kim, this was hardly a sonnet. But the form worked well. You know I am not a Trophy Hunter,))) Too dense a poet, or so I am told. I agree,))) I added an image. See my remarks to Darlene, thank you for the smile. Panagiota

The entire state is a wreck! Dead people, too. See my remarks to Darlene. It’s so frightening, this was like NYEve, Andrea. All Cable Cars were halted in SF.. we are in a state of emergency. Trees fall and knock out power.Sacramento is bad…so is southern CA, woman died from fallen tree. Schools shut down, too. The quiz ain e is cool. Will send you what happened near me, arg! Howling winds are at night, Panagiota
