California Dreaming

On the coast of Northern California The salty air will tear the naked eye Hiding tears that fall for my senora From lovers holding hands a passing by Spanish tunes are playing on the wi-fi Recalling now a time when we were here Friendship shared will have to last a lifetime With passing days those times are treasured near Remarkable how days can seem like years When friends are parted by their hopes and dreams This sand we walked together caught our tears Now swimming in the oceans flowing stream I hope they join together into one And swim forever underneath the sun. Great poem. The emotion is deep and bittersweet. Only a couple of teensy thoughts, if I may: Maybe "I hope THAT they change INTO tears of joy" flows better? Maybe not. Also, "employed" not explained. What does it mean? Maybe other word? JM$0.02
