Caged Creature
hearts are wild creatures
That's why our ribs are cages
To lock them away
My heart is scarred up
And stitched to keep it in place
Beaten black and blue
And thats fine with me
Cause I'll rebuild what broke
You will not own me
I protect this cage
This creature is mine to keep
Until it is tamed
