Blossoms like orchids, waxy white Waiting for pollen's lore Producing those bean pods purple Chocolate treats galore Green, yellow, red, purple grooved pods Ebony dark the seeds Bitter the natural flavor Desire has acquired a need Planted 'neath fine cacao tree In death feast 'pon dark seeds Bitter the pulp very toxic Theobromine just feed

This is just a brilliant write, you have made me want to see some of these trees, they sound beautiful! I don't know if there were any in Houston, or College Station, when I lived in Texas...I could have see some of these wonderfully sounding trees! I really enjoyed reading this descriptive poem here this evening! What a fantastic piece, Great Work!!

Sara, do you have cacao trees there? I was thinking it was only in Mexico and South america, but this sounds like you are very familiar with them!
