By the Sea

By the Sea There is a cozy alcove by the sea Where when I am bothered, Imagination carries me. The blue ocean’s gentle tide Splashes easily there, Its white foam whispers; And As I close my weary eyes. Neath a stony slice of pinkish bluff, The world and its worries wave away. On a supple soft blanket, on the sand, A puffy pillow at my back, Songs of circling gulls, calming clouds drifting, By the sea.

I do love the ocean, this takes me there, the scent of the saltwater, the breeze in my hair, the sun on my face, the gull's cry from above; beautiful, thanks for the mini-vacation.
