By the Backyard Pool

Tiny raindrops fall gently on the crystal pool, forming wavelets of slowly fading ripples. Lotus blooms dance to the rhythm of the water, bowing gracefully low like nature’s chandeliers. Happy guppies frolic, unafraid of getting wet, neither cold nor pneumonia seen as a threat. Frogs in the undergrowth sing a choral refrain “Rain, rain, don’t you ever go away again.” Such peaceful scene and what beautiful sound as heavenly shower comes pouring down. Funny how the sight of rain falling on the pool can make a mess in the mind of this lazy fool.
