Butterfly Kisses
Butterfly Kisses
I turned slowly in my bed,
it was early but the alarm was set.
It was still dark outside,
there was no light intruding yet.
Butterfly kisses I could feel on my spine,
'Morning my love' said this man of mine.
I snuggled towards him sleepy,
in the warmth of the bed,
His kisses I suddenly felt,
on the back of my head.
His arms came around me
and pulled me close to him
The butterfly kisses now
I could feel on my chin.
How can this be,
I jumped up in fright,
A spider had crawled in the bed,
in the middle of the night.
It wasn’t his kisses so warm and so dear
It was a great big spider,
that’s now splattered from there to here.
