Flying up so high Beaming with a life so proud Breathtaking colors After reaching the bright stars She falls like a streak, down…down The life so fragile Lost in the suffocating air She lost the battle And fell, day’s worth of climbing Gone within a moment’s time… To butterfly heaven Russell Sivey

I enjoy the roller-coaster of emotions here my friend. Vibrant imagery to boot, loved the last two lines of the first stanza. Thanks for sharing this wonderful write.

oh so beautiful Russell.. fragile words depict a fragile creature's life splan.. delicately penned to share your thoughts of beauty..so sad things have to die luv.. so glad u enjoyed my Christmas magic.. hard to write on a day of 100 degrees but that is what imaginations for I guess luv.. awesome and captivating piece my friend..
