Sara, I love your imagery here and that butterfly is a real beauty. Also you could be speaking of the brightest star in the sky, Sirius, which is also known as the "Dog Star". Very nice touch either way..... Love, Connie

"Southern Dog Face", huh. Hmm, I'd like to see that face. :) But yellow butterfly sounds real pretty the way you describe it. Great Haiku, Sara! Thanks for sharing and thanks for your nice comments on my poem. Best wishes, Caroline.

A Heartwarming Haiku, Sara! I wonder how a "Southern Dog Face" would look like...Thank you for sharing...Just listening to The Modern Jazz Quartet-tunes on youtube as background music. This was my favourite band in the 70ties and 80ies. Keep writing! Gert

Who gave that butterfly such a name...some scientist I suppose! LOL Beautiful haiku, Sara. Smiles. (PS I loved the Homeless woman story. I didn't forward it because the very end had a bunch of programing looking stuff. Ingrid said it might be a virus. And told me to delete it. We've had too many crashes in the recent past. I am glad I got to see it, though. It was hilarious!. So far so good...no problems with my computer, yet. I didn't open the attached files, though.) Love, Dane
