But Time Goes By
Your heart aches
Because of the lie.
You're thinking the pain'll last forever,
But time goes by.
Your eyes sting with tears
You're trying not to cry.
The seconds are like hours,
But time goes by.
Your arms long to crush something
Grip it like you're about to die.
The clock seems to stop,
But time goes by.
