I felt it too…… The silence was droning on inside my head Ripped my heart in two, Can’t refuse the feeling something missing right where you belong, Its like my heart knows that you not home. :| You’re gone. I can’t wrap my head around it, You leaving me all alone, open like a gaping hole Prey to the icy winds of abandonment, the echoes of no response To me calling your name out loud, Every time my broken heart tries to beat ?? Heartbreak must be what they call this sentiment, Don’t wanna wallow to deep in this dark hole, But I find comfort in the memories taped to these crumbling walls Heart attacked, crashed down in the desert snow My writhing hearts beat, strumming to a drumming long gone Its laboring rhythms, creating perfect snow angels in the fading snow Each angel singing a different tune But all filled with the same wishful sorrow filled sound?? “Oh please come back to me…..
