But of Course
Your lawyer can really seem
so damned brilliant
as your courtroom knight
so witty, so valiant;
you'd think he can pull rabbits
out of straw hats
or forge a true truce among
your dogs and cats.
If you lose your case, he'll say
the judge's been bribed,
if you win, he'll tell you
he kept you alive
so you want to show how
grateful you can be,
but, hey, wait till you see
your attorney's fee!
