But mark this: there will be terrible times in the last days 2 Timothy 3:1 part eight
Godlessness in the Last Days
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will
be lovers of themselves, [Taking selfie pictures of themselves and post
ing them over the internet.] lovers of money, [serving money rather than
God], boastful, proud, [Just as bad as Lucifer, himself.] abusive, disobed
ient to parents,
[By divorcing their parents in family courts of law] ungrateful, unholy [
both profane and cursing both God and mankind] without love, [or with
out any natural affection.] unforgiving, slanderous, without self control,
brutal, not lovers of good, [but lovers of evil] treacherous, rash, con
ceited, lovers of pleasure than lovers of God,--having a form of god
liness but denying its power, [The tares planted by the enemy of God
among-st His wheat fields.] Have nothing to do with them. 2 Timothy

A Call to Persevere
Therefore breathern, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy
Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and a living way opened for us
through the curtain, that is his body, and since we have a great priest
over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a with a sincere
heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse
us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure
water.
Let us hold unservingly to the hope that we possess, for he
who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may sput one
another on toward love and good deeds. [We are not saved by our
our good deeds, but by love through Jesus Christ.] Let us not give
up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us
encourage one another--and all the more so as you see the Day
coming. Hebrews 10:19-25
[The Day of the Lord--during the seven year tribulation
period on earth immediately-- following the rapture of
the church.]
Commentary
It's the blood of Jesus that's giving us privilege to enter into His Most Holy
place of worship and of sacrifice. He is our High Priest over God's house
through His bodily sacrifice on the cross. Our hearts need to be purified
and our bodies washed with pure holy water. Let's hold steadfast to the
hope that we've have by encouraging love and good deeds in each other.
We're not to forsake, the assembly of ourselves together, as some already
have. Encourage one another, as we see the Day of the Judgement of the
Lord, appear. [White Throne Judgments' of the ungodly.]
