Burning Songs of Love
O' but how your colorful light adorn
I pity my spirit ravaged and torn
if only a word to find shall I speak
with failing breath knees trembling and weak
If only I should be the chosen one
as a fare virgin flower to the sun
surely moments shall touch the evermore
of lofty heights entwinning as one we soar
In vespers I kneel to greet my sweet dream
where each fleshly desire pulsate and teem
like an endless novel of fleshly rage
our romantic play premier's center stage
But for in a moment silence consumes
within this trapped mind agony and doom
if only a glance if to look my way
surely seduction would birth endless days
Writing this novel of endless desire
alone, breathless, I feed the raging fire
