Burning Into Time
Silent stars soar, reaching
Through a gray-black sky.
Glistening stars all the same,
Yet different.
A brief tone repeating in the
chorus.
One song divided into days
As sunlight bends forward
And shakes the earth.
Clocks tick while you write
Poised letters that name the
Chorus and notes now
Burning into time.
