Burn
crash through a fence
to a ditch in a field
as it burned burned burned again
two on the run
one at the wheel
burn burn burn again
sent to the chair
at the turn of the year
burn burn burn again
father an son
broken road highway
storm still to come
chop through the night
life on the run
a hicher blead
for his boots and clothes
heading wherever
the cold wind blows
a night spent cold
in a barn on a farm
burn burn burn again
morning brought the dogs
and the sun was warm
burn burn burn again
healpless and wounded
with a broken arm
burn burn the father and son
shotgun fire
brings the chase to an end
father to son
to one is a friend
burn did the sun
as is shines on the two
or so it is told
from me to you
