Burn

The flames engulf me. The shame takes over me. I scream at the scorching heat. The fire takes me high. Oh, that soothing burn. The smell of burning flesh. How do I find this peaceful, If peace doesn’t come to the sinful? That aroma is enticing. Too inviting, put me where they lay the dying. How else am I to love hell? The heat is sweltering. My heart is drowning. I rather sink, then live in this terrible world.
