Built Around Two
Love's euphoric elixir
seduces with tempting sips.
And fledgling feelings take flight;
as sweet kisses seek sweet lips.
Passion's flame burns intense,
for love keeps on fanning it.
Yet, despite vague promises,
no one's willing to commit.
Being alone is lonely,
for dreams are built around two.
And you want to find someone
who will share their dreams with you.
But fate's possibilities
make it critical you choose.
For if Hope opts to gamble,
there's a good chance you could lose.
