To live in the insidious bubble that perpetuates fantasy at the expense of living life in all its threatening splendor is truly a questionable choice.
Bubbledom by Odin Roark How frothy That first taste When some upper layer Seems the treat d’ jour Whether in big business Big politics Big Hollywood Or Wall Street Aspirations to be part of that bubble Prove anything but frothy How seductive the connection To feel complete Without threat from the outside Without knowledge of collateral lives Such an existence Seemingly insulated from jeopardy Ignores outside reality Shuns cognizance of truth Lines swell Vicarious pursuit grows So many now crowd inside the bubble That never pops Until it does
