Brother Sister Love

Strangers many times at table,
we are each at home.

All but he are gone, his
blue heaven eyes shining out

at me in a world of new todays
shedding history’s hair shirt

recalling only what fits like a
fine silk suit.

Long ago children
clinging to innocence.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Kathy, you say so very much with so few words, and each word is just as it should be. Love this. You make me smile, too! :-) Hugs

' heaven eyes,' '...history's hair shirt,' '...long ago children clinging to innocence,' incredible phrasing! masterful writing dear Kathy!! Best wishes, Keith :) (It's shameful this hasn't gotten more reviews.)
