Brother Sister Love
Strangers many times at table,
we are each at home.
All but he are gone, his
blue heaven eyes shining out
at me in a world of new todays
shedding history’s hair shirt
recalling only what fits like a
fine silk suit.
Long ago children
clinging to innocence.
