Broken Promises

every day a promise was made but never to be kept,you've been told why my heart is filled with pain because of promises made and never kept, but it still happend everyday yet. I wish I knew why you said things you didn't mean but it seems as if thats a subject failed never to be aced. You say you don't know why I hold a grudge, maybe after you read this poem, I'tll be a lesson learned. Don't take me wrong I love you without a doubt, for you are my mom you are my blood, but loving you doesn't mean I have to like you or the way you do things, because like and love are two totally different things.
