Broken Bones of Youth

it’s the end of an era. a last second shot in the dark from God knows where. the kids can’t be tamed. the life of an adolescent has changed. the darkness has darkened. the light not so formidable. we allowed it, them, us to change. the cocaine has been canned. distributed. and consumed. pretty colors and quick deaths. energy for life comes in pill form. sips of liquid help wash it down. the weird is mainstream and the normal is far from it.
