Broken
Broken bottle
Blood stained sheet
Empty promises
Whenever we meet
Love is just
A four letter word
Tears flowing
You haven’t heard
My cries for you
Your empty heart
People don’t change
Same from the start
And hear I lay
So sad and grim
Lord have mercy
It is because of him
Serendipity is so
Far from here
Prayers don’t help
Why should I care
Run and hide
From this blackened heart
People don’t change
