Brittle Bones
We witness heartaches, we witness heartbreaks.
In your life there’s foundations that you must shake.
A tremor to your own world. Something you may feel that no other can.
When the ground no longer feels stable you tend to move around.
You try, boy do you try. You stress and even at times you've settled for less.
You tend to always stand in your own way, then when things fall apart, you pray for a better day.
What greater gift can you receive than the one that shows you to believe.
Trust your gut, find your hearts desire, inspire;
Let nothing or no one tear you a apart.
We all have it in us, the potential is immeasurable, so why is it so easy to becomes less pleasurable?
We have to strive each day to become our own, to only make others happy is a fault of our own
We are the source, we have the drive, so why should we let one failure dictate our lives?
A brittle bone, all it needs is nourishment, a grasp in your soul strong as cement.
Crack it may, shift it must, believe in yourself, you are your own trust.
