British Summer

The sun was burning hot this morn, but then it poured with rain, I dashed inside and found a mac... the sun came out again! * mac - short for Mackintosh (raincoat)

Fun way to showcase the unpredictability of the summer weather. I visited England for a week in the summer (many years back) and we packed for varying weather conditions, and it was a good thing we did.

Oh how right you are a typical English summer - when i was a child we spent three years in England , Somerset Taunton I still remember the Summers l always had to take a cardigan with me. My dad was English - my Mom Greek. I also remember when my wonderful dear dad died my uncle came to his funeral and was sunbathing in our garden when the temperature was 16 degrees reading his book on one of our patio chairs, this is our Summer he said a wonderful warm day! Congratulations with your win Jack. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.
