Brief
To think about where I am now
makes little sense to me.
But even less so, I should say,
is to think of where I've been.
Even more, the greatest waste
of what little time I have
would be to think about,
and only of where I am going
since time well spent
is not easily lent
to bouts of never knowing.
Instead, perhaps a more useful thought,
not spent on trying to survive
is used to know that of all the moments
in which I have, and will, exist,
I was lucky enough to spend a few alive.
