Bridge
This bridge I build
I build to last
Not of stone or metal
Deep inside
Down past
Thoughts I have willed
This bridge of many spans
reaches out to you
Walk with me.........
If you want to
The bridge can be broken
By thoughts of despair
By harsh words spoken
This bridge,
reaches far in to your heart
Relentless march through
Join me too
If you want too
What you can be
Let us start
So many bridges to build,
without stone or metal
made with thoughts willed
This bridge I have built
Will not wilt
For...together
It will last
Deep inside
Down past
This bridge built for you
Stronger than stone
Built on love and affection
More than flesh and bone
Bridge running through,
your heart case
Open up
Walk with me too.......
this open space
This bridge ............
Connecting us
Cornerstone and truss
Walk with me,
if you want to
what you want to be
