Breathtaking
Breathtaking
Before I could see the glitter of rising sun,
Rays of his love had blinded my vision,
Enraged tides constantly swayed my thoughts,
As crescendo of rhyming beats rose high,
Trusted promises that drummed into temper,
Head could merely record songs of passion
Till plucked strings of violin were put to rest.
And there I was pondering, sitting aloof,
Kindness having walked all through the rough,
Is there a chance to relive if wrongs undone,
No matter how breathtaking the rope walks seem,
Gifts of fortune can't eclipse a shattered dream.
