Where petals of morn dance as April slips
Into a woodland brimming with glazed hue,
Oh joys of spring’s approach blush floral tips
To refresh my heart with colors, anew.

The pansies, herbs flaunt their vibrant appeal
To refresh my heart with colors, anew;
Enticing dawn’s climb with a breathless zeal.
The pansies, herbs flaunt their vibrant appeal
And birdsong croons the merriest of hum
Enticing dawn’s climb with a breathless zeal
Until my body whirls on oaks all plumb.
And birdsong croons the merriest of hum
When joy of spring’s approach glaze floral tips
Until mist nestles on oaks that grow plumb,
Where petals of morn dance as April slips!
