Breath of Love

He died so unexpectedly. My soul provider and my identity, In a complex world of desires. My children father, their only dad, His last breath of loved he bequeath. My sister followed on Valentine’s Day. Troubled by what he did not cause. He was born in a world of faults. We married without the consent of my mother Whom, to us, brought us together. Through the love of our children, his life is known. He left the world to not suffer. In his last breath, love was shown. He said that he did not want to be a burden. The memories are everlasting. The strength in life, the caring, and the laughter; All not forsaken by encumbered death, But a paragon of peace forever. Mighty is the power of the Lord. A poem full of sadness and celebration, for life and death are transitory journeys. Beautifully penned.
