Breakthrough

I'll let the weight of the world fall by the wayside. With it goes all the fear and pain. I no longer feel so twisted on the inside. No more damaged goods in here left to be contained. Gone in my mind are the late night walks through uncertainty. This new path is where i'll lay my tread. This life and little step towards my eternity. The begining after my last breath. So i'll bask in the sun which now warms me. I'll drink from cool waters to quench my thirst. I'll forget about the rat race which is battled by those who surround me. I never wanted to be first. My mind lays at ease and is rested. Gone are the times where I thought I was lost. No time to stew in a sea of depression. One day we will be judges for the paths we have crossed. Only a loving smile I'll let ride along with me. No tears left to fall to the ground. For in this life I've planted a new seed. From my body grows roots sunk deeply into the ground.
