Break Me
Distant shores of forgotten feeling,
Revived inside of me to
Torture -
Memories of happiness
Buried in the sands of time.
I locked away my heart to protect it from you,
Cast away the pain
Infesting my life -
Turned blind eyes to the sky.
Sinful horizons cast
Sunkist hues, inviting
Escape - betraying.
Tingling sensations awaken
A dormant heart, hibernating in the
Sorrow of absence.
Lost in the pain
Of words left unsaid.
Delicate footsteps in unexplored territory -
Search your words for hidden lies.
Restrained emotions collide
On the beaches of despair.
Trust
Broken -
Like the ruins we dance through.
