Braver Days
I'll see myself as a warrior reborn
Bolder than starlight gleaming overhead
An enlightened trail when betrayal’s sped
By washing away a hurt past once lost
Like a birthing of inner courage shown;
As shadows of angst turn to grit, atoned
Before time's painful wounds are spread.
Where belief and esteem together ring
Alive with my need for justice, restored
To change honor wronged, as love's lies sting
And heal nights from deceit... never again!
Rebuilding trust by self-care well explored
As lessons claim braver days, my reward
For a wholeness this spirit finds glowing.
