Bouquets of Spring

Up a country road Wisteria blooms The soft lavender fragrant buds await Easy sunlight gently touches blossoms Sends wafing aromatic breeze thru gate White Dogwood blooms spot multicolored woods Gently lift and fall in soft spring air Impressionistic Azalea blooms stood Colorful ornaments on creek's bend fair Narcissus stand in trim and neat rows Except at homeplaces beside the road Where they are free to send out young For our rejoicing when spring has sprung In the warm spring nature's bouquets abound Sakura, Tulips short time are around

Wow! Sara, great timing to think of spring amidst record-breaking snows and low temps. It lifts my spirit being trapped in the house with deep snow outside where only 4WD vehicles can navigate. Thanks for your kind remarks about my tax poem. You might want to look at my dandelion poem recently posted.

Sara, you should be very proud of Doris's poem that's posted on Deb Guzzi's blog. You have quite a talented and compassionated daughter. Love, Carolyn

Absolutely breathtaking images of spring, Sara. Especially love the way the dogwoods brighten the woodlands with their white flowers. Tulips have a short life, but the Lisianthus (hope I spelled it right) looks just like the tulip and it blooms in clusters all summer. Purple, white and a few shades of pink. Very hardy plants and they sometimes come back the next year. Hard to find them in nurseries though. Love your poem, Carolyn

I hope that where ever you are you are getting these beautiful blooms and scents on the air - It's still a barren wasteland here in the summits of New Mexico. Wonderful Sonnet Sara! Loev, Tirzah
