Born I Naked
Beauty of flesh swaddled from eyes of sin
Overtures of innocense in a leaf
Rapture exciting blind lust with chagrin
Nature paraded now in callous grief
I was born for better than figment leaf
Nurtured to believe in man there's a child
Anxious for innocense, called to be wild
Kept by fears at the edge of life's glory
Ego restrained, the promise rich defiled
Dancing maypole around love's full story
Languish in the lingering dream of stars
Overtures of Eden flash on our eyes
Virtue vacated in our silent wars
Eros vindicated is paradise
Meaning is another cloth that defies
Erotic sense with figment leaves and sears
Passion in the salt rivers of our tears
Ultimately we were born to seed more
Replenishing the image count by years
Expressing self on the unclothed shore
