Born a New
There comes a time in every life
when it is as if the world stops.
A pregnant pause catches us
in mid step and we wait poised.
It hits us plum between the eyes
and ever after life is changed.
We see all things a new.
life takes on new meaning.
This thunder bolt is an arrow
which as it hits us in the heart,
stirs us on, fire coursing our veins
and we become truly alive with love.
