Book of Fire

In the book of fire & all that blazes In the words of praises, Burning fast They are hard bright …it blares white. This is my desire But... What is my fire What is it that I can acquire? What do I want to shape and destroy… I feel my soul bound to this book This book of fire I write words of infinite jest and mirth I feel my being slip past this earth From ashes to ashes Were dust gathers in the rooks My past is a mystery I have nothing but this book I have nothing but history I sit here writing for what... What is my demise …if I sit here in the path of Eternity & write this book of fire! Is this my only worth What is my fire Am I just a ghost on this fleeting earth? ...is that all I can desire? I am all that remains suspended in the blast, I turn, I turn to carbon at last. (book of ash II)
