Body
The face never changes.
I see this in pictures past.
It is always me, I never see the transitions although they are constant.
Blonde hair to brown, the features expand, the legs grow long, the muscles mutate, the arms stretch.
The eye's seem immortal, the teeth retire and are replaced by stronger versions.
The hair begins a slow, steady and strong conquest, destroying all traces of youth.
I know the person in the mirror all too well.
My mind wanders and sheds ideas like a snake changes skin as it slithers.
Thoughts.
Thoughts are the only element which disobey the natural progression of the body.
The face and the mind dance a duel in my reflection.
They have been bound from the beginning and shall do until the end.
