Blue Waves
BLUE -- and WHITE against ship, I SEE
BLUE -- or rather GREEN of jealousy that it does not hear the movement's SOUND
BLUE -- waves' SMELL to give me sign of danger - BLACK
BLUE -- I TASTE the spray of VIOLET, seeming
BLUE -- FEEL sick in its nerve-shaking CREAM.
(White, see, green, sound, smell, black, taste, violet, feel, and cream.)
Blue becomes white against the side of ship, I see...
Green of jealous waves that they do not hear the sound.
I smell the deadly danger that is its vastness, black...
I so want to taste the spray of violet, seeming,
But I feel sick in this sea's shaking cream of
CURLS.
