Great tanka, George, it seems these "long stretches" are lasting a lifetime for me. Francine posted a blog and the title has to be "blue." You also need to add your name at the bottom below the name of the contest. Her blog says these rules must be followed for poems to be considered and I wouldn't want you to miss out on winning!
