Blue and Gold of Long Ago

so blue the river that meanders through my thoughts as I remember summers when a golden sun wrapped itself around our love skies once winked blue eyes sun smiled gold for us alone…. yet gold may tarnish now ashen clouds, filled with rain form in my recollection ____________________________________________________________ For Rick Parise's Contest "Blue and Gold Tanka"

wow, you did so well with this, Carrie. It's gotta be a number one! My middle name. Well just take the last three letters of my first name and rearrange them to spell it out. Not hard to guess. hehee
