Blowing Bubbles
Two blond heads with beaming smiles
on the other side of the screen door.
Blowing bubbles from their magic wands,
carried off on the breeze.
The deck is soapy,
the window is too
but I don't care at all.
Two blond heads with beaming smiles,
soapy from head to toe.
This is a perfect summer day
with rainbow bubbles everywhere.
The sun beams down
but not as brightly
as the smiles of these two.
Something as simple as bubbles in the air
brings joy to all who see.
This is a perfect summer day
with rainbow bubbles everywhere.
