Blood Born

Raven eyed the moon glowered in an anthracite sky bleeding onto an India-ink stage where Valkyrie’s pluck dead heroes to Valhalla. Wolf winds howl the ravished sight. Rent storm with fang and claw. Purge the all too monochrome plight with the Bloody born. Harken the twisted neck of owl observer of raven eyed moon. Mourn the passing of the faint of heart for they've met their foreshadowed doom.

How Vampirish sounding, Deb!! I really like this one and the great alliteration going on. Last night I was reading our stuff when Soup went OUT. So here I am resuming where I left off. I have a poem to type up. I was up till 3 a.m working on it and it's not even great, just "informative" It's a big day. I want to see Single Man, last Oscar nomination I need to catch before Oscars night. gotta go to gym again. Want to see your haiku . I haven't forgot. Luv, Andrea

This is a scorcher of an image invoking poem Deborah and very aptly named, I was hooked at anthracite sky and then the valkyries sealed the deal, it is both haunting and inspiring as one can feel the lifesblood of the aesir resounding in your wonderfully rendered reading, I shall return to experience more of your gift thank you =) Eddie Sang
