Blinders

That you continue to draw breath matters to me. Every time that your heart beats It means something to me. Why is it that those things That you most want and crave from life, Are those things that you refuse to see. It's time to take the self-imposed blinders That keep you feeling sheltered, lonely, and desperate Off and purposefully see what is really around you! If you are unwilling to let it matter to you- That you matter to me, It is of no value, use, or purpose That I continue to draw breath or That my heart continues to beat For to you, it is as if neither even exist.
