Blessed Friends
A friendship is a precious thing
Or as fleeting as a bird on wing.
Like all things wonderful that grow,
Good nourishment must keep it so.
Don’t let a friendship fail to thrive
It must have care to stay alive.
Ten thousand strangers can’t compete
With one true friend, steadfast and sweet.
You’ll find when you have grown old.
Friends are more valuable than gold.
