Black Knight
Ancient ramifying willows survived more than one flood
They witnessed history drenched in blood
Of the black warrior they sing a ballad
As he fought against Teutonic knights by him who were defeated
His visor black absorbing all light
His hood dark as night
His size for his time awesome sight
Wearing his black armor he knew how to fight
Yet he was the solder of light
He was a brave and good knight
His victories written by visage of moons’ light
Under which valiantly he would fight
When huge force took him prisoner they chopped off his head
And just like that the great warrior was dead
But although this makes me a little sad
His spirit lives on in stories and light of the very sun under which he bled
