Bittersweet Life
I wake up to no peace of mind
I was asked if my dream was blind
I say to them its dark how do I find
My way before I am left behind
I wake up to see we all fear
I know it’s heavy to bear
If it’s simple we could have shared
With the ones that are near
I wake up to see no one is free
Only if we knew we have locked death with key
The life we live is just for a wee
Bittersweet lives as we all see
